Make a Difference for Women & Girls in Marin County
The Marin Women’s Commission advocates for gender equity, economic opportunity, and community support for women and girls across Marin. The Commission partners with community organizations, conducts research, and advises the Board of Supervisors on issues impacting women and families.
Who We’re Looking For
We seek passionate Marin County residents who are ready to represent their communities, contribute to policy discussions, and help shape programs that support equity and inclusion across the county.
Time Commitment:
- 3 years
- Meetings: Monthly Commission meetings held at the Civic Center typically 6-8PM on the 4th Tuesday of each month
- Additional Time: Committee meetings, research, and occasional community events
- Most Commissioners commit 5–10 hours per month, depending on committee involvement.
