District 5 –
Emily Knoles was appointed to the Marin Women’s Commission in 2015. Emily is a Marin County transplant living in the county for more than six years, and she is honored to represent District 5. Emily is and has been a Labor and Employment Attorney in San Francisco for the last eleven years. She is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California and the Pepperdine University School of Law.
Emily has been a dedicated community advocate over the last two decades, working to register individuals in marginalized districts around the country to vote, training parents to be self-advocates for their children’s special education needs and coaching the San Rafael High School Mock Trial Team. She is committed to ensuring that each voice is heard and every woman and girl has a seat at the table.
When Emily is not helping clients efficiently and effectively address their labor and employment law needs, or working in the community, she spends her time with her husband and two children exploring the beauty and adventure that Marin County has to offer.
