“It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

“As a mother of two daughters in Marin and a native to the County, it is such an honor to receive The Marin Women’s Commission on Women and Girls Award. It further inspires me to continue to do all that I can to make this world more gender balanced, protect reproductive rights and help provide a fertile soil for all women and girls to thrive.” Tiffany Shlain

The Commission could not have accomplished all it has over the years without the support of the Board of Supervisors, our past Commissioners, our partners and our friends and supporters. The Commission envisions a diverse, fair and equitable Marin, where all women and children have the resources to live happy healthy and productive lives. Please join us.
